Half the fun of doing a Doggers gig is the rehearsal that comes before the show. Sometimes we end up spending more time talking and laughing than rehearsing. Since the band doesn't play often, we find it necessary to get together once in awhile to refresh the songs, adding a new song sometimes. Today we decided to practice at Brad's place, an apartment in downtown Ottawa, and we practiced some songs that we've been working on recently including one by Mumford & Sons. It's the one I had thought we could record for my song a day challenge and then it seemed fitting when Troy was running late (we almost did it without him - but he made it).
