I wasn't really sure what song to play today, and then early in the morning a Facebook post on my wall caught my eye: a friend asked if I'd play Head over Heels by Blue Rodeo. I realized I hadn't covered a song yet by this great Canadian band, and Head over Heels is a song that I've always liked. It's one of those songs that I know - but not well enough to pull it off when a patron requests it. So I took some time this afternoon to play through and learn the words, and here is the final result. I think it turned out ok!
