Today I was invited to play for an event called Music in the Park in Manotick, a nice community at the edge of Ottawa. I've played shows there before, at Watson's Mill and a house concert, and today's event was outdoors. It was pretty cold in the morning and my fingers were getting a bit numb as I played, but we took a coffee break after the first set, and the sun started trying to break through, so it helped. I played a mix of covers and original songs for the people that wandered by, coming in after the Terry Fox run, and weekend hockey players. There was also a great playground nearby for my wife and son to hang out at during the show within listening distance. It was a great day.
