Song 324: Strong Enough by Sheryl Crow

I remember exactly where I was the first time I heard today's song. There was a party up at my cousin Jamie's house out in the country and everyone had stayed up late but I went to bed a little earlier than the rest. I woke up the next morning and went into the kitchen. No one else was up yet so I grabbed a glass of water and looked out the window to watch as the sun started to rise. I saw the Sheryl Crow CD lying there amongst the other records and decided to pop it in. When "Strong Enough" came on, I thought it was the only thing as beautiful as the morning sun in the country. I fell in love with that song and I still think it is one of Sheryl's strongest contributions to music.

I knew I wanted to cover it for this project so I flipped the words around a bit so that I could sing it from a male perspective. Here is one of my favourite songs by one of my favourite female artists.
