Welcome to December everybody! For me, December is a milestone in my song a day video challenge. I have the perfect song for the start of this month - "If We Make it Through December" by Merle Haggard.
I chose this one because I am a big fan of his music and obviously the title works well with my project closing in so soon. There is also a little lyrical gem that is very fitting and that I only realized until after I decided to record this song- "Got plans to be in a warmer town come winter time, Maybe even California."
Mel and I have been thinking that we might want to take a family trip to California in the new year. It would be a good opportunity for us to get away for a while, I could get back to writing some more material and we could temporarily escape the Canadian cold.
