Today I pulled a t-shirt out of my drawer that just says "Funk" on the front. I think it either belongs to my friend Peter Voith or my friend Anders Drerup. It ended up in my suitcase after a trip we took to Havana a long time ago. So I decided to think of something funky for today's post and I remembered a song by Koko Taylor that I learned from a CD Anders lent me called "American Roots music".
