Mondays are rough. Both Julian and Mel are battling serious colds and we didn't get a lot of sleep last night. I was trying to think of something for my song today and I remembered that I had a request on Saturday night from a girl named Corrie Vendetti who has come to see the duelling piano show many times. I wasn't able to pull off the song saturday night so I decided I would revisit it today.
I had to get the song done rather quickly since I also had a rehearsal this evening with a vocal Jazz choir who are rehearsing a version of one of my songs for the song a day project. I really think you are going to love what this choir has dong with my tune and I am so inspired and exited to film it with them some time soon.
As I left the choir rehearsal it occurred to me that the name of the song I was going to do today was called "Whistle for the Choir". So Corrie, I guess your request was meant to be. Here it is!
