I guess I couldn't go without playing a couple of Michael Jackson songs this year, and the days are dwindling down. The only thing is, covering one of his songs - solo - makes me want to approach it with a different feel from the original. My idea for 'Billie Jean' was to change the rhythm and the key of the song to meld it into a bit of a bossa nova for the piano. This song has been covered so many times and I think that's a testament to how strong it is. Here's my version - hope you like it.
