Awhile back I saw some great photos of my buddy Jon Chandler's home recording studio and so I was really eager to try recording some music at his place. Jon, who is a member of Ottawa band Amos The Transparent has recently decided open his doors at Second Hand Sound Studios as he takes on recording projects.
I got together with him today to record a solo version of my song "Smoke and Mirrors." Jon's really got it all together at his place - he's got great recording gear and software, and he is a well experienced musician who is no stranger to life in the studio.
It was a great experience and I am thrilled that I got to play/record a real Fender Rhodes for this one! Here it is!
