And Somehow I Fell Upon This Place

It's been a long journey, full of ups and downs, spanning a couple of years to make this album.  Creatively, I've gone out on a limb and written darker songs than on Characters, and mixed things up with the addition of strings throughout the album.

After all was said and done, I ended up working with Darryl Neudorf at Operation Northwoods and it was an amazing experience. It was so refreshing to create an album for the sake of making music, and I'm pleased with how it all turned out. 

My official CD release will be at the Velvet Room in Ottawa on Sunday, June 24th and I hope to see you there!

Ottawa Bluesfest 2012

I'm thrilled to be part of the RBC Royal Bank Ottawa Bluesfest again this year.  This is one of the biggest music festivals in North America and this year's lineup features Norah Jones, Snoop Dogg, City and Color, and David Gray to name a few!

This year, my performance will be especially unique - I'll be performing an intimate show in the Barney Danson Theatre on Sunday, July 8 at 5:45 PM. I'm excited to play some of the tracks from my new album for this show and would love to see you there.
